RODNEY ADAIR MEMORIAL AWARD
This award
is named in honor of an Oregon/Columbia IABC member who
contributed to the chapter above and beyond providing
excellent volunteer service. Mr. Adair was killed
in a car accident in the 1960s. This coveted award is
the highest honor the chapter bestows.
Sam Vigil Jr.
Sam has served on our Communicators Conference
Committee for two years where he was instrumental in the
conference attracting some high quality speakers.
Along with member Scott Frangos, Sam also launched our
chapter into cyberspace and now serves as our webmaster.
He's also served on our chapter board
in the past and is one of the few members I know who has
attended board meetings when he wasn't on the board.
And he has volunteered to once again serve
on the board next term. He's a delight to serve with,
he's an enthusiastic, friendly, always eager-to-pitch-in
type of guy.
